our modern, well-equipped factory is regularly audited by the representatives of the retailers that we supply to include wrt quality systems, production capabilities, safety and social awareness. the most recent audit carried out at our production facilities was done at april 2010 for target australia. all equipment is less than five years old and the majority of sewing machines are japanese brands, computerized with under bed trimmers and more. we operate vertically with wholly-owned knitting plants manufacturing microfiber, cotton and pu for our own consumption and for supply to other manufacturers.
our average product development lead time for new fashion styles is 45-60 days with a quicker turn around for core and replenishment styles. we have a well-established and experienced sample department. the normal turn around time for initial fit and rail samples is one week. our sample room has the ability to generate samples from photographs, diagrams or specifications and with our design department traveling regularly to europe and the us, they are up-to-date with current fashion and design trends. we also employ an in-house graphic artist to generate original artworks for rotary and placement prints.
